Gas Fire Extinguishing System

The FM200 carbon dioxide CO2 gas extinguishing system, which is a component of automatic fire extinguishing systems, comes to mind when we talk about gas extinguishing systems.
Liquid-protected FM 200 gas extinguishing systems are colorless and odorless. It is stored in cylinders under 25 bar pressure.

The reason for its wide distribution is that it does not cause any harm to the area where it is applied and to human health. The liquid gas inside is applied to the combustible area by spraying, and FM200 gas forms a layer covering the combustible surface in the form of icicles. FM 200 gas, which is similar in structure to Halon gas, is a physical fire extinguishing system, not a chemical one, just like Halon gas.
In addition to the shock effect brought on by the release of carbon dioxide, the carbon dioxide gas also manages to reduce temperature in the area it serves by rapidly altering the oxygen balance in the volume it serves.

Since carbon dioxide gas extinguishing systems, which have very effective extinguishing power, are harmful to human health, they are considered suitable for use in unmanned environments.
